She gained a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering and Production Management at Universit\u00e0 Politecnica delle Marche. Then, she obtained the Master of Science in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. She got a PhD at Politecnico di Milano in Industrial Engineering in December 2014 with the thesis \u201cFrom Best Practice to Archetype: drawing the path of Innovation\u201d. \u00a0During her PhD, she spent a research period ad\u00a0Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ssrc.mit.edu\/programs\/mit-consortium-engineering-program-excellence-cepe\" target=\"_blank\">Consortium for Engineering program Excellence<\/a>\u00a0(CEPE) within the Sociotechnical Systems Research Center.\u00a0She has been involved in two European research projects:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.leanppd.polimi.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">LeanPPD<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkeddesign.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedDesign<\/a>. She is the research director of the LeanPD Italian Community since its birth, in 2010, as well as Research Director of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.osservatorio-geco.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">GeCo Observatory<\/a>. \u00a0She publishes in several national and international journals and she attends various academic conferences around the world.
